ADORABLE

IDAH + ALEXIS

I do not claim to be a photographer, I just happen to occasionally be at the right place at the right time to capture some incredible moments in the right light.

This little one just turned one! Have you ever seen a more joy filled smile? Together, her and her mama couldn’t be more precious. Alexis’ happiness is contagious to say the least and her moms grit and determination are inspiring. These two are quite the team! Watch out world.

Enjoy some photos from Alexis’ first birthday party! Please do not copy or use these photos in any way without permission from this family. Reach out to me with your request.

MARATHON MONDAY

MARATHON MONDAY

The Boston Marathon is probably one of my favorite days of the year in Boston. Usually, it is the day that brings our city out of the dark winter, everyone climbs out of their hole to welcome visitors and enjoy watching thousands of amazing athletes. It is a day that gets us excited, makes us feel alive, and motivates us into spring. This year we had a long winter. A really long winter.  It just seemed to drag on and on and on…and on. Even into the marathon. It was a cold and rainy day.

We didn’t last long as spectators, only about an hour. But we did get to see the winners and elite runners pass. Watching the athletes run in those conditions was even more amazing and inspiring than in past years.

LONDON!

TRIP TO LONDON

From graffiti to Van Gough. From castles to concrete. From a full English breakfast to bangers and mash. From bridges to tunnels. From palaces to cathedrals. From theaters to street performances. From the Eye to the dome. From the city to the countryside.

There is so much to see in London. We missed a lot. But we did stay in a super cute hotel near the Abby. We walked lots of miles. Ate a lot of great food. Walked all of the steps to the top of St. Paul’s Cathedral. Ventured through the Leake Street graffiti tunnel that was christened by the one and only Banksy (maybe he was even there, but who would know). Saw one of the greatest musicals on stage today, Hamilton.

Enjoy some photos from my trip and feel free to uses them in any of your projects!

Happiest Holidays

HAPPIEST HOLIDAYS!

HOLIDAY TIME IN BOSTON

The holidays are different in Boston. It is winter. So it’s cold and isolating. But there is joy. The holiday season brings rest and quiet, and peace. Qulities that cities aren’t usually known for. The college students are gone and the work schedules slow down for a few days. The time allows us to sit back and be thankful that we live in such a beautiful historic city that celebrates so many different traditions and cultures.

My family celebrates Christmas, but not everyone does. In fact most of our neighborhood is Jewish and we love that. We are one of a few houses around us that put lights on our house and a big tree in our window. We don’t do this because we want to show everyone that we celebrate Christmas but because it is tradition for us. Our friends are kind to us and are not offended by our celebration and I hope they would say the same about how we treat their traditions.

Happy holidays to you and your people. Enjoy some photos from our holiday and feel free to uses them in any of your projects!
